Patricia Hansen – Life Member of Hockey Qld - was a former Director of the Hockey Queensland Board (HQ). Trish was also on the HQ Judiciary Committee.
Trish demonstrated a long standing commitment and dedication to the sport of hockey by being a club member for well over 35 years in Queensland, holding down positions as President, Secretary, Treasurer, and delegate to Mackay Hockey Association for approximately 30 years. During this time, Trish served on various committees including Competitions, Executive, Fixtures, Selectors, Umpire, Technical, Judiciary and Uniform Controller.
Also representing at Masters Level for Mackay and managing U18 women, Mackay Masters, Queensland Country Women, Queensland Women Masters and Australian Women’s Masters.
Trish was a Life Member of Camerons Hockey Club and Mackay Hockey Association.
At the WM National Championships, Trish was awarded “The State Service Award” from Hockey Australia Women’s Masters “in recognition of outstanding contribution to Women’s Masters Hockey in Queensland”.
A long standing member of the HQ Women’s Masters Committee undertaking compiling all Records, and contributed to the presentation of the 30 Year Celebration of Veteran/Masters Women in Queensland held in Maryborough during the MW Championships.
Trish believed that hockey as a sport should be accessible and enjoyable by anyone at the level to which they aspire and worked to ensure hockey was affordable to help make this happen.
