Tatum Stewart named as debutante in Hockeyroos 2023 squad

The final 22-man Hockeyroos Squad for 2023 has been announced following the Visiting Athlete Agreement Selection Camp (VAA) held in Sydney last week.
Tatum Stewart is one of two debutantes named in this year’s Hockeyroos squad, whilst Rosie Malone is selected in one of the 5 remaining spots.
Queensland now has 8 of the 22 Hockeyroos athletes including:

An initial 17-player Hockeyroos squad for 2023 was announced in December last year, with the additional five athletes now completing the list of 22.
While the 2023 squad was now confirmed, Head Coach Katrina Powell reiterated players from outside the 22 would be given opportunities and that the Hockeyroos group comprised of a larger pool of athletes who remained well and truly in the mix.
Hockey Australia have also named the Hockeyroos teams that will line up in the FIH Pro League against China and Germany in Sydney, and the matches against Argentina and the USA in Hobart including athletes outside of the squad of 22.
