Hockey Queensland set to stream 2023 calendar of competitions on LiveHockey.com.au

Hockey fans are in for another bumper year of streaming action that will again see the very best national, state and community-level competitions from Hockey Australia and all eight state and territory associations streamed centrally on LiveHockey.
Hockey Queensland kicks off the action from 29th April with The Hockey Queensland Championship, the 18+ competition for athletes to compete for their Association.

Hockey Queensland CEO Alison Lyons stated, “We are looking forward to another year of streaming our State Championships on LIVEhockey.com.au. We have learned a lot from our first year on the platform and were delighted by the buy-in from our Associations and members. With the new complimentary subscriptions for our playing membership group we are providing another benefit to our players and their families. We encourage everyone to watch the representative teams competing in events around the State and at the National Championships.”
Memberships
In an exciting move, Hockey Australia announced that all 2023 playing members will receive FREE access to LIVEHockey.
For those not hitting the pitch this year, Hockey Australia has created a special Digital Membership which will keep the community connected with all the latest in hockey news and special offers including discount ticketing to tournaments.
Streaming Deal
In partnership with Cluch, Hockey Australia and its member associations have renewed one of the most expansive streaming deals in Australian sport. The centralised LiveHockey streaming platform will again showcase tens of thousands of hours of content from all corners of Australia.
In 2023, LiveHockey, powered by Cluch, will feature thousands of individual hockey matches, ranging from junior and senior national and state championships to Premier League competitions and much more. In a show of true alignment, LiveHockey will showcase content from Hockey Australia, Hockey Queensland, Hockey Victoria, Hockey NSW, Hockey Tasmania, Hockey SA, Hockey WA, Hockey ACT and Hockey NT.
Every game on LiveHockey will be available to view globally with a combination of free-to-view and subscription content designed to maximise audience reach and drive new commercial opportunities and growth across the sport.
Throughout 2022, almost 30,000 hockey fans signed up to LiveHockey from over 70 countries. The platform generated over 570,000 video views with more than 10.7 million minutes of content watched.
