Hockey Queensland New Board President Announced

Hockey Queensland (HQ) is pleased to announce Mr Paul Mantell has been appointed by the Directors to the position of HQ President. The position of President recently became vacant after Mr Steve Stewart did not stand for the position at the HQ AGM, held Saturday April 29 2023.
Paul is a long-standing Board Member who has held the role of Finance Director the past 5 years. The HQ Board is very pleased to welcome Paul to the role as he is held in high regard by the community and by his fellow Board members. Paul has stepped down from the role as Finance Director and the Board is currently working through some governance requirements before appointing a current Board member to the role. HQ can confirm that the Finance Director will be held by a person with suitable qualification as per the Constitution.
The HQ Board will also be releasing more information soon regarding the skills and experiences required to fill casual vacancy positions.
