Hockey Queensland Annual Awards 2020
Published Fri 16 Apr 2021
Hockey Queensland is proud to announce the winners of the Hockey Queensland Annual Awards for 2020.
Due to the success of our Annual Awards going online in 2020, HQ are proud to repeat this special series in 2021 so everyone in our community can join in the conversation, and congratulate our winners.
Once again, the awards were in two categories – Achievement and Community.
The Hockey Queensland Achievement Awards celebrate those in hockey who had outstanding success in their field for 2020. These awards were voted on and decided by the relevant committees.
There is only one annual ‘Achievement Award’ for the 2020 season – the Outstanding Achievement Award, as there were no events or high performance opportunities for Hockey Queensland members.
The Hockey Queensland Community Awards aim to celebrate those in our community that ‘go above and beyond’, without whom we wouldn’t be able to take the field each week.
Nominations for these awards were submitted by Associations, and voted on by the community. Winners were decided by the community votes and the HQ Awards panel.
Winners were announced via Facebook on Wednesday and Thursday evenings.
Congratulations to all of our winners, and thank you for your dedication to hockey.
