We’re excited to announce Hockey Australia’s Hookin2Hockey Coordinator Connect Forum —a national initiative aimed at upskilling and empowering key stakeholders in delivering our sport. The roadshow will make one visit to each state, with Cairns Hockey Association hosting the Queensland session.

The Hookin2Hockey Coordinator Connect Roadshow is designed to provide you with tools, insights, and strategies to enhance participation, ensuring the best possible experience for players. Sessions will focus on:
- The Australian Sports Commission’s Modern Approach to Coaching
- Utilisation of the New Hookin2Hockey Games Guide
- Strategies for Participant Recruitment and Club Growth
- Volunteer and Workforce Development for Hookin2Hockey
Each session will include an on-pitch component led by the Hockey Australia Growth Team, providing attendees with a hands-on opportunity to refine their coaching techniques. This is open to any coach, parent, or hockey enthusiast keen to upskill and gain insights on how to grow hockey in the junior space in their region.
