High Performance Tassie Tour - Wrap Up

The Hockey Queensland/QAS High Performance Programs headed to Tasmania for 5 days of interstate hockey earlier this month.
The two teams – Men and Women – competed in 4 games against the Tassie Tigers and a composite team from Western Australian Institute of Sport (WAIS), South Australian Sports Institute (SASI) and Tasmanian Institute of Sport (TIS).
"The Tassie Tour was a beneficial trip with the focus on development and trialling different concepts on field with no pressure of results, nor there a focus on competition.
It was a good way for our athletes to play some hockey and also socially to spend time together after 18 months of no National Championships.
We were able to learn a lot about ourselves as a team but also as individuals and now have some new goals to set for next year." - High Perfromance Team.
