Diversity Equity and Inclusion Workshop

Hockey Queensland has been awarded a Sport Australia Women Leaders in Sport (WLIS) Grant.
As part of the Grant, Hockey Qld has been fortunate to obtain some funding and have a Diversity Equity and Inclusion Workshop with Phil Cross from Leaders for Good in May. The ASC manages the Women Leaders in Sport program through the support of the Office for Women.
The Inclusive Leadership Essentials Workshop covers the following and will be an benefit to all.
Inclusive Leadership Essentials
Attitudes towards diversity, equity and inclusion, and the expectations of organisations and their leaders, continue to evolve at an increasingly rapid pace.
Navigating this change requires a different kind of leadership.
1 x 90 min workshop - designed for people leaders and emerging people leaders at all levels.
The session covers:
- What is Inclusive Leadership and why it is important
- Connecting to Inclusion
- Model for Inclusive Leadership
- Mindset and actions of an Inclusive Leader (exercise and takeaways)
- Individual commitments
