Consultation on The Voice to Parliament

On 14 October 2023, Australians will be asked to vote at a referendum on a proposed change to the Australian Constitution.
The referendum question is:
A Proposed Law: to alter the Constitution to recognise the First Peoples of Australia by establishing an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Voice.
Do you approve of this proposed alteration?
Many sporting organisations and companies have made a public position on the response to the referendum and the Voice to Parliament (the Voice). More than 20 sporting organisations have already outlined a yes position including Hockey Australia.
Before determining, a position the Hockey Queensland (HQ) Board would like to undergo consultation with Members. This consultation is to inform the Board of the general position held by the Queensland Hockey Community and to assist in determining the next steps in what leadership role HQ may take in relation to the Voice.
