Coaching Course in November

Two Coaching Courses were held 23 & 24 November at the State Hockey Centre in Brisbane.
The Development Lead Coach Course was led by FIH Educator & Level 5 Coach, Amy Ryan, and was conducted over the two days. 22 coaches were involved and are looking to be accredited.
The Foundation Lead Coach Course was run by Aaron Kenny and Tinesha Carey. A further 22 coaches were involved in this course.
Brisbane Blaze players Emily Witheyman- Crump, Tim Howard and Savannah Fitzpatrick provided specialist skills coaching. The Development Lead coaches had an insightful Q & A with Blaze Women’s coach, Nikki Taylor, prior to the Adelaide Fire game on Saturday. Then, a game analysis of Saturday’s Blaze V Adelaide Fire was part of their assessment.
Hockey Qld extends a big thank you to Amy Ryan, Aaron Kenny and Tinesha Carey for their role in the course. Another thank you to Nikki Taylor, Emily Witheyman-Crump, Savannah Fitzpatrick and Tim Howard for their time prior to and after their Hockey One commitments.
