Celebrating 100 Years

2021 marks 100 years of hockey officially being played in Queensland.
On the 31st March 1921, the Queensland Men's Hockey Association was formed, and two years later in 1923, the Queensland Women's Hockey Association began. On 11 November 1995, the Queensland Women’s Hockey Association (QWHA) and the Queensland Men’s Hockey Association (QHA), amalgamated to form a new era in hockey – Hockey Queensland.
Hockey Queensland has designed a special logo commemorating the milestone, and throughout the year, HQ has exciting celebratory announcements and events planned. Stay tuned for more information.
