Burras bring home silver at Sultan of Johor Cup in Malaysia

The Australian U21 Men, the Burras, finished second at the recent 2024 Sultan of Johor Cup in Malaysia.
Congratulations to our Queenslanders Noah Fahy, Hayden Pease and Daykin Stanger on a great tournament, as well as Assistant Coach Matt Wells and Team Manager Christian Bourke.
The Under 21 men got off to a hot start in the final with a goal from our own Daykin Stanger in the first 13 minutes of the game.
Great Britain took control of the game from that point onwards with three goals and a strong defensive showing, including denying the Burras from four PC attempts in the last minute of the game.
Despite not being the result they were after the tournament provided valuable experience for the Burras against opposition they will come up against at the Junior World Cup qualifiers in January 2025 and the Junior World Cup in 2025.
