Blaze - Volunteers EOI

The Blaze are looking for your support to light it up at our home games this season. Check out the volunteer opportunities below to become part of a champion team.
The Blaze have 3 home rounds at the State Hockey Centre. Colmslie, Brisbane:
- Thursday 6th October vs Canberra Chill - first game at 5:30pm
- Saturday 22nd October v HC Melbourne - first game at 6:30pm
- Friday 11th November v Adelaide Fire - first game at 5:30pm

Available Roles
- Volunteer Manager
- Ball Patrol (at least 14 years old)
- Car Park 1 (VIP/general public)
- Car Park 2 (team/officials/bus)
- Gate 1 & 2– Gate Attendants
- The Inferno (Welcome/Access Control)
- The Inferno (Hospitality)
- Grandstand Seating (Access Control)
- Roamers
- Grounds People
- Bar Personnel
- Spectator Services
- Mascot
- Mascot support
- Kid’s Zone
As part of our Volunteer Recognition, you will receive the following:
- Experience a great live sports events from behind the scenes
- Work in a friendly, enthusiastic and dedicated team
- Free entry to the State Hockey Centre for yourself and one other person (to watch the game if you are not volunteering during)
- Food voucher for the canteen on game day
- Refreshments before or after your shift
- Volunteer shirt
- Gift from Hockey Queensland
