AWEsome morning with the Active Women Executives group trying hockey

Hockey Queensland is proud to have hosted the latest session of the Active Women Executives (AWE), which connects executive women leaders in sport and aims to get them active and prioritise their wellbeing!
The group were fortunate to be coached by hockey stars Nikki Taylor, who led the Brisbane Blaze women's team to two Hockey One League championships, and Angie Lambert OAM OLY, Olympian and Sydney 2000 gold medallist.
Brisbane Blaze players Jade Smith, Rosie Malone, Dayle Dolkens, and Morgan Mathison also joined the session, along with Masters World Cup coach Tinesha Carey.
5-time Olympian Nat Cook said, “It was fantastic to catch up with Angie and relive some of our golden memories from Sydney 2000! Hitting the ball was definitely a great stress reliever and mood booster, and I know we all went into our days feeling energised and inspired.”
