Affiliated bodies and members of Hockey Queensland enjoy complimentary cover of the National Insurance program. Please find out more information below. In order to be eligible for the cover players must be registered with Hockey Queensland and/or one of the affiliated bodies. Please find further information and product disclosure statements below and under the provided links to Marsh's Insurance program.

 

National Insurance Program

Registered players, officials, and volunteers will be covered by the National Hockey Insurance Program. The program ensures that all registered participants have a minimum level of insurance protection before they take to the pitch. Marsh are the National Insurance Broker.

Public Liability Insurance

Public Liability Insurance is designed to protect you and your business from legal and / or medical costs that arise from an incident connected to your activities.

Club Management and Professional Liability Insurance

When you give your time and energy to a club, you want to make certain you are not risking your personal or the organisation’s financial security. That’s why you need a Management and Professional insurance policy. It provides protection for you and the organisation in the event of legal action.

The insurance addresses exposures//wrongdoings clubs and associations face everyday, including; discrimination, harassments, wrongful termination, inefficient administration or supervision, libel and slander, misrepresentations and employee theft.

 

Personal Injury Insurance

Personal Injury Insurance is designed to offer some peace of mind to members, participants and volunteers of an organisation by having protection for certain costs related to an injury sustained whilst involved in an insured’s activity.

Certificate of Currency

A Certificate of Currency is a legal document that demonstrates you have current Public Liability Insurance, Club Management Liability Insurance, or Personal Injury Insurance. This document is sometimes required by Council and/or Facility Management.

The individual Certificates are available on the links above. You will require a specific "club code". Please reach out to the HQ Office to obtain your club code for the download.
