Season 2 of the Sultana Bran Hockey One League has been pushed back and will not begin as scheduled due to the current COVID situation in many parts of the country.
The Premier announced that the strict conditions implemented for the recently impacted Local Government Areas (LGAs) will be lifted at 4pm Friday 20 August 2021, which is earlier than previously advised. The restrictions in the Cairns and Yarrabah Council areas will now align to the rest of Queensland.
Due to the change in the U13 National Championships, which has moved from 30 September - 7 October to 11 - 17 November. Hockey Queensland has changed the date of the U13 Indoor State Championships. The Championships will remain in Mackay and the new dates are:
U13 Girls Indoor State Championships 3-5 December 2021
U13 Boys Indoor State Championships 10-12 December 2021
