OAMPS Queensland Blades fought hard against the home side, Canberra Lakers in their second game of round two in the AHL today. Once again the game came down to the last minutes for the final result.
AHL Finals Week
Diamonds shine over Scorchers to become AHL Champions for 2010. NSW defeat Victoria with Golden Goal; SA defeats ACT on penalty strokes and Tassie defeat NT in first win at AHL in Adelaide today.
AHL Round Two
In a top of the table battle at the Marrara Hockey Centre in Darwin, the OAMPS Queensland Scorchers beat New South Wales in a tight game to gain crucial points leading into the finals week in Adelaide from 29 May.
AHL Round One
SA hit back with a win over NT and Queensland drew with WA on the last day of the first AHL round in Ipswich. Thank you to Ipswich Hockey Associaiton and their many volunteers, Ipswich City Council, the participating teams, umpires, technical officials, Umpires Manager, Jan Hadfield and Assistant Tournament Director, Gary Marsh for your time and efforts throughout the weekend.
